The Kanohi Amatkau is the Mask of Slingshot.

The Kanohi Amatkau allows the user to imbue objects with telekinetic energy by touching them. These objects remain in this charged state indefinitely until the user triggers the energy and causes the objects to be flung forward at rapid speeds towards a selected target or direction. The Great version of the mask allows the user to set triggers for the release of this kinetic energy, allowing objects to be launched when specific criteria are met.

An Amatkau Nuva is created when a destined Amatkau is dipped in Energized Protodermis. In addition to its standard abilities, it can imbue more objects at once with telekinetic energy, and its power can be shared with individuals near the user; however, it can only be used by Nuva beings.

Great

As a 0AP action, the wearer may spend one or more Kanohi Charges. For each charge spent, the wearer gains 6 “tags.” The user may then “tag” up to 6 separate objects as a 1AP action; they must be able to touch the objects to tag them. Tagging more than 6 objects at once might still only require 1AP, assuming the objects are all close together. Depending on the size of the object tagged, it may require the wearer to use multiple “tags”; Light weapons or smaller objects require 1 tag and deal 1d4 damage; Medium weapons and similar objects require 2 tags and deal 1d4 damage; and Large weapons and similar objects require 3 tags and deal 2d4 damage. Objects larger than Large Weapons may still be tagged, but will require even more Kanohi Charges (exact amount at the GM’s discretion). The wearer may always choose to give an object more Tags than it requires. At any point after tagging one or more objects, the user may launch any number of tagged objects as a 2AP action. All objects launched at once must be launched in a chosen direction, or at a chosen target or being, with a maximum range of 60ft. For each object launched, the wearer makes an attack roll using their Kanohi Attack Roll Bonus; each object deals Xd4 damage on a hit, where X is equal to (the number of tags used on the object multiplied by its size damage dice). Alternatively, when tagging one or more objects, the wearer may spend 1 additional AP to “set a trap” with the object. To do so, they must both define the “Triggering Criteria” (such as an activation radius or a verbal command), and the direction that the object will be launched in when these criteria are met. When a trap is triggered, the object attacks each being in its path, starting from the closest as per above. The object stops after it successfully hits something. While objects set as a trap can be launched as a part of a 2AP launching action, objects not set as a trap cannot be launched as a trap. Tags last until an object is launched, or for one hour, whichever is sooner.

As a 0AP action, the wearer may spend one or more Kanohi Charges. For each charge spent, the wearer gains 3 “tags.” The user may then “tag” up to 3 separate objects as a 1AP action; they must be able to touch the objects to tag them. Tagging more than 3 objects at once might still only require 1AP, assuming the objects are all close together. All objects launched at once must be launched in a chosen direction or at a chosen target or being, with a maximum range of 45ft. For each object launched, the wearer makes an attack roll using their Kanohi Attack Roll Bonus; each object deals Xd4 damage on a hit, where X is equal to (the number of tags used on the object multiplied by its size damage dice). Tags last until an object is launched, or for one hour, whichever is sooner.

Great Nuva

As a 0AP action, the wearer may spend one or more Kanohi Charges. For each charge spent, the wearer gains 8 “tags.” The user may then “tag” up to 8 separate objects as a 1AP action; they must be able to touch the objects to tag them. Tagging more than 8 objects at once might still only require 1AP, assuming the objects are all close together. All objects launched at once must be launched in a chosen direction, or at a chosen target or being, with a maximum range of 80ft. Noble Nuva

As a 0AP action, the wearer may spend one or more Kanohi Charges. For each charge spent, the wearer gains 4 “tags.” The user may then “tag” up to 4 separate objects as a 1AP action; they must be able to touch the objects to tag them. Tagging more than 4 objects at once might still only require 1AP, assuming the objects are all close together.
