The Kanohi Shelek is the Mask of Silence.
The Shelek allows its user to simultaneously disable a target's ability to speak and hear for as long as the user concentrates.
A Shelek Nuva is created when a destined Shelek is dipped in Energized Protodermis. In addition to its standard abilities, its power can be shared with individuals near the user; however, it can only be used by Nuva beings.
