History
This island was where Mata Nui created the Makuta species from Antidermis.
A group of Matoran shipwrecked on the island, and they settled it.
Landscape
Tonoha is a barren and desolate island. It is dotted by ruined fortresses built in a forgotten era, many of which have been repurposed into simple homes.
Unknown to all but a select few, the island holds an ancient secret: in a chamber hidden deep in the island's interior lies a pool of Antidermis, from which the Great Spirit created the members of the Makuta species.
Society
Local Matoran eke out a living from the fish Rahi living in the coastal waters.
