Tevan is an island in the Matoran Universe.

History
Tevan has a long history of strife between its Ihaugafe occupants and the native bird-like Atureas. After Barraki Mantax vanished, eventually a deal was made that gave the Ihaugafe the north and the Atureas the south of the island, though occasional skirmishes still flare up along the borders. The Ihaugafe saw value in the Atureas as slaves, while the Atureas would like nothing more than to expel the Ihaugafe from their home island.
Landscape
The south of the island is mainly covered by temperate rainforests, while rocky hillsides and grasslands dominate the north.
Society
Because of the permanent conflict, Tevan is considered somewhat primitive in terms of culture.
