History
Daxia is unique in that it was completely unknown to outsiders for nearly its entire existence. Only recently was it revealed to exist at all, when the Order of Mata Nui, who had their secret headquarters on the island, publicly declared war on the Brotherhood of Makuta.
Landscape
Daxia is a blisteringly hot place with strange vegetation. The island has only a small population of Rahi, because their creators, the Makuta, were unaware of the island's existence for most of its history.
