The '''Cavern of Historical Records''' was a cavern on [[Voya Nui]] where the [[Matoran]] stored records carved in stone of the island and of its residents.

== History ==
When the [[Piraka]] arrived on the island of the Voya Nui, [[Avak]] and [[Vezok]] were attacked by [[Order of Mata Nui]] member [[Axonn]] while searching [[the Green Belt]] for an entrance to the [[Chamber of Life]]. They were lured into the cavern, where Vezok promptly destroyed the records. Once the Piraka were trapped inside, Axonn and [[Voya Nui Resistance Team]] member [[Balta]] sealed the entrance with a cave-in. Vezok and Avak eventually escaped the cavern.

When [[Teridax]] was killed in the [[Battle of Bara Magna]], the Cavern of Historical Records was severely damaged, and the Matoran evacuated to [[Spherus Magna]].
